About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, EPIC experience required Must-Have: - Call required - Every other weekend required - Could care for COVID patients - Tobacco and fragrance-free facility Description: Schedule requirements include 3 shifts of 12 hours from 7 PM to 7 AM. Call is required for this position. Candidate will be reviewed by clinical staff to determine clinical fit. If the clinical review is passed and within guidelines, the candidate will be sent for a final decision. Manager will conduct an interview. Minimum experience required is 2 years. Experience with EPIC charting is preferred. This position involves providing care to neonates and maternal patients. Daily census averages about 8 patients. Patient ratios are 4 patients per nurse. Floating and additional responsibilities may be required as needed. The facility is equipped with interdisciplinary support services including IV teams and pharmacy. The environment requires adherence to infection control and safety protocols. Candidates should be prepared for a fast-paced, challenging work setting. Healthcare professionals must maintain all licensure and certifications throughout their employment. Vaccination against COVID-19 is required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons allowed. Flu vaccination is also required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons only. Additional responsibilities include patient assessment, education, and assisting with deliveries. This position may involve emergency response duties as necessary.
