The Chronic Tacos Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing daily shift operations to ensure efficient service, high-quality food, and excellent customer satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this role requires managing team performance, maintaining inventory and cash controls, and upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

 

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift activities and staff to maintain smooth operations
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve conflicts promptly
• Train and mentor new and existing team members
• Manage inventory control and monitor stock levels
• Oversee cash handling and ensure accuracy in transactions
• Maintain food safety and quality control standards
• Provide constructive and complimentary feedback to team members
• Prepare and submit shift reports to the Store Manager

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in fast food or retail management
• Food Handler Certification
• Responsible Beverage Service Certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Cash handling proficiency
• Demonstrated team leadership
• Effective time management
• Experience in inventory management
• Excellent communication abilities
• Problem-solving skills
