Customer Service Representative - Aerospace

CAEtech is seeking a Customer Service Representative – Aerospace Manufacturing for a full-time contract position with benefits supporting customer and manufacturing operations in Torrance, California. The Customer Service Representative will serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customers and coordinate order management, delivery commitments, customer communications, contract requirements, performance scorecards and issue resolution. The position works closely with Supply Chain, Planning, Operations, Contracts, Sales and Accounts Receivable to support customer requirements and on-time delivery. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and manage day-to-day customer interactions. Prepare customer communications, coordinate visits and manage recurring customer reviews. Support accurate and timely order processing, order status communication and customer returns. Coordinate customer demand changes with Planning and Supply Chain to support on-time delivery. Work with Contracts, Pricing, Sales and Accounts Receivable to support compliance with customer agreements. Monitor contract delivery requirements and understand applicable Long-Term Agreement terms. Manage customer performance scorecards, identify performance variances and coordinate corrective actions. Maintain accurate customer portal information and support improvements to portal-related processes. Resolve contested invoices and deductions in coordination with Accounts Receivable and customers. Coordinate with Operations and Supply Chain to address delivery issues and customer priorities. Identify and communicate customer escalations to appropriate internal stakeholders. Support customer-service activities associated with new program development and ensure customer requirements are understood and documented. Familiarity with MRP systems and customer web-based portals. Ability to quickly learn and navigate internal business systems. Familiarity with manufacturing systems and processes. Skills Preferred SAP experience. ERP/MRP system knowledge. Customer portal experience. Proposal preparation experience. Experience supporting customers for technical products. Education Required Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution OR high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment . Experience Preferred 5+ years of customer service, contract administration or related experience. 2+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience. 1+ years of MRP-system experience. Customer support experience involving technical products. Eligibility Requirements Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Relocation assistance is not available. Candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Torrance, California .
