Manufacturing Intelligence Engineer Location: Casa Grande, AZ We are seeking a Manufacturing Intelligence Engineer to lead and enhance manufacturing data systems at our Casa Grande facility. In this role, you will serve as a key technical partner to Manufacturing Operations and Engineering, driving data integration, system performance, and digital transformation across the plant. You will play a critical role in developing manufacturing asset structures, enabling data contextualization, and ensuring reliable, compliant, and scalable data systems that support operational excellence. What You’ll Work On Coordinate with IT support team to maintain secured IT infrastructure for manufacturing operation Assist with manufacturing software system validation to be compliant with 21CFR part 11 Assist with manufacturing data visualization and reporting needs Interface frequently with inter-organizational and outside customer contacts Represent the organization in providing solutions to technical issues associated with specific projects Prepare written communication. Convey information effectively through formal and informal documents with team members, designers, technicians, and other technical personnel, both internal and external to Abbott, using appropriate communication protocols. Identify and quantify technical risks and their consequences relative to the success of part of a project; recommends appropriate action, e.g. reports calculations and recommendations in terms concrete enough for management to make an informed decision Drives functional performance that ensures the highest standards in quality, customer service, and regulatory compliance are met Provide occasional off-shift and weekend support for OT production systems, as needed, to ensure continuity of manufacturing operations. You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of experience in IT, engineering, or manufacturing operations Working knowledge of manufacturing IT systems Preferred Qualifications Experience in regulated industries (healthcare, nutrition, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods) Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills Ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve technical challenges Familiarity with financial systems and controls In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
