Electrical and Automation Engineer

Job Title

Step into a high-visibility engineering position where you'll own electrical and automation systems for a fast-paced food manufacturing facility — driving uptime, leading improvement projects, and making a direct impact on production every single day.

What You'll Do:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, motors, drives, PLCs, and control panels
Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar), HMIs, and SCADA systems
Lead and support electrical and automation projects including upgrades, new line installations, and equipment integration
Develop and implement control logic to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure consistent product quality
Conduct risk assessments, LOTO audits, and safety validations to ensure OSHA and food safety compliance

Requirements:

Hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems, power distribution, and instrumentation
PLC programming and troubleshooting proficiency (ladder logic, function block, or equivalent)
Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen)
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
