Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with fluoroscopy imaging experience for a pain management center performing fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided procedures.

Details

• Work in a pain management center providing fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guided procedures
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift schedule
• 26-week assignment length
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radiology Technologist
• Fluoroscopy imaging experience required
• Active MA license required at time of consideration; no pending license accepted
• License required if applicable
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Determine appropriate radiographic technique based on patient anatomy and condition to produce quality diagnostic images
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures including transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and positioning
• Explain procedures to patients considering their physical and emotional needs
• Record digital images for radiologist interpretation and maintain pertinent records
• Provide radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards
• May assist radiology technologist students and new staff with exams, sterile technique, and supply stocking
• Local candidates accepted with permanent residence within 60 miles of Boston, MA, at a reduced rate
