Staff Research Associate II - Neurology

Description The Samelson Lab is seeking a Staff Research Associate to support biochemical and structural biological projects, and will have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing research projects in the lab and to author publications. The position will support protein expression via bacterial and human cell cultures, protein purification, protein characterization, and data management. The SRA will contribute to projects defining mechanisms of protein aggregation, combining cell biological experiments with in vitro assays. Additionally, the successful applicant will be involved in building the Samelson Lab, supporting implementing data management systems, ordering and installing new lab equipment, and managing lab reagent ordering.
