ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in San Jose, CA. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to support students in a K–8 full inclusion setting while working alongside a collaborative educational team.

Qualifications:

• Active California Education Specialist Credential with Mild to Moderate Support Needs (MMSN) required

• Previous school-based special education experience preferred

• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

• Knowledge of special education compliance, IEP development, and implementation

California's current MMSN credential authorizes special education instruction and support for students with mild to moderate support needs in grades K–12 and across program settings, including general education settings. (Commission on Teacher Credentialing)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and California state standards

• Support students within the general education/inclusion setting

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, related service providers, and administrators

• Implement appropriate academic and behavioral interventions

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

• Create a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment
