Job Description The Peoria, IL office of Dewberry is seekinga Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 . This position performs assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks. Responsibilities The candidate will work on a wide variety of projects including schools, health care centers, higher education facilities, office buildings, industrial buildings, commercial buildings, structural evaluations, civil/site structures, and water/wastewater treatment facilities. Required Skills & Required Experience Currently pursuing a a B.S. or M.S. in Civil or Architectural Engineering is required (focus in Structural Engineering preferred) Applicants should have exposure torelatedCivil/Structural engineering design, strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment withmultiple deadlines. Assist with preparation of civil/structuralengineering calculations, reports, construction drawings and specificationsto meet project requirements. Proficiency inREVIT and AutoCADgood working knowledge of MS Word and Excel required. Don’tmeet every single requirement?
