Mid-Level Litigation Associate – Complex Commercial Litigation

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 Days In-Office / 2 Days Remote)

About the Opportunity
A highly regarded Seattle-based litigation boutique is seeking a talented Mid-Level Litigation Associate to join its growing practice. The firm is recognized for handling sophisticated, high-stakes disputes on behalf of clients ranging from regional businesses to Fortune 500 corporations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to transition into a collaborative, trial-focused environment with lean, partner-led teams, meaningful case responsibility, and direct access to experienced trial attorneys.
The firm handles a broad range of complex civil and commercial litigation matters throughout the Pacific Northwest and nationally, offering associates substantial opportunities to develop their litigation and advocacy skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complex civil and commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts.
- Draft substantive motions, pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct and defend depositions, manage discovery, and participate in case strategy development.
- Assist with trial preparation, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
- Work directly with experienced partners on sophisticated, high-exposure disputes.
- Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies for complex legal issues.
- Collaborate with clients and litigation teams throughout all stages of litigation.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of litigation experience , preferably involving complex commercial or civil disputes.
- Judicial clerkship or large law firm experience strongly preferred.
- Experience taking and defending depositions is highly desirable.
- Trial experience or meaningful involvement in trial preparation is a plus.
- Strong legal research, analytical writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage complex litigation assignments while working collaboratively with a team.
- Excellent academic credentials and strong attention to detail.
- Attorneys from a variety of complex litigation backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
