Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,586–$2,786 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Start date: 07/21/2026 Shift: Monday–Friday Location: Bethel, AK Orientation week may affect guaranteed hours; first‑week hours are not guaranteed if orientation starts on a Tuesday Responsibilities Deliver patient care through the nursing process: assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Direct and coordinate nursing care for patients based on established nursing practice standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide quality, cost‑effective, and efficient care; serve as a resource when needed. Apply age‑specific considerations and cultural diversity in care delivery; educate patients and families. Administer medications, interpret diagnostic tests, provide patient/family education, and document actions. Maintain basic EKG skills and other essential nursing skills; supervise unit secretaries and PCTs in collaboration with the Charge Nurse. Document care activities and ensure continuity of care across the care continuum. Requirements Current Alaska Registered Professional Nurse license in good standing. Completion of an NLN‑approved nursing program. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred one year of health‑care experience as a registered nurse. Must be able to practice nursing per Alaska nursing regulations; strong verbal and written communication skills; flexible with work schedule; able to work in a patient care setting.
