TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Santa Monica, California, 90404!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: 2 years minimum License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, FHM, NRP, NCC EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Must-Have: First-timers not accepted; must float to postpartum as needed Description: 4 antepartum rooms available. 9 labor and high-risk rooms. 3 triage rooms. No on-call required, will float to postpartum if needed. Fetal heart monitoring experience required. High risk pregnancy monitoring experience required. Experience with C-sections and vaginal deliveries necessary. Postpartum care may be required if insufficient perinatal RNs are available. Ability to provide couplet care for newborn and maternal patients. Experience in monitoring and documentation in charting systems is a must. Candidates should be comfortable working in an OR suite during C-sections. Assistance with vaginal deliveries is required. Average facility births range from 200-300 per month. Daily census amounts to about 200 deliveries. Privacy is of utmost importance due to the celebrity clientele served. Interdisciplinary support is available including respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy. Special equipment and sterile techniques will be utilized. Candidates should have skills in labor and delivery, antepartum and intrapartum care, and neonatal care. Must commit to working 3 holidays out of 5 designated holidays.
