Chief Administrative Officer (Litchfield)

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for all hospital operations and functions, ensuring alignment across all service lines to drive growth, quality, and top-tier patient care.
• Collaborate with physician relations teams to advance the future of the hospital.
• Report directly to the Central Illinois Market Chief Operating Officer and partner with the full Central Illinois Market team.
• Manage the organization in a matrix environment, serving as the public face of the hospital and health system throughout the Litchfield area.
• Oversee all aspects of the hospital’s operations in Litchfield, IL, and coordinate relocation logistics as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, management, finance or a related field, or be actively pursuing such a degree and graduate within two years.
• Nursing degree (BSN or MSN).
• At least 7 years of leadership experience in a hospital, health system, multi-specialty group practice or integrated delivery system.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice within 90 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
• Multi-state RN license under the Nurse Licensure Compact (if applicable).
