Module Fabrication Yard Project Manager – Tarpon Specialty ServicesProject LeadershipAssume full responsibility for assigned modular fabrication projects from handoff through project closeoutDevelop and execute project execution plans aligned with contract requirements and company objectivesLead multidisciplinary project teams and establish clear priorities and accountabilityMaintain ownership of project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and riskClient ManagementServe as the primary client interface throughout project executionLead regular progress meetings and provide accurate reporting on project statusBuild long-term client relationships through responsive communication and successful project deliveryNegotiate scope changes and manage change ordersSafety LeadershipPromote a strong safety culture throughout the fabrication yardEnsure compliance with all company safety policies and customer-specific requirementsParticipate in safety observations, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiativesSchedule ManagementDevelop and maintain integrated fabrication schedulesCoordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, coatings, mechanical completion, testing, and loadout activitiesIdentify schedule risks early and implement recovery plans when necessaryMonitor critical path activities and production milestonesCost & Commercial ManagementManage project budgets and financial performanceReview labor productivity, equipment utilization, subcontract costs, and material expendituresForecast monthly revenue, cost-to-complete, and project marginEnsure accurate billing milestones and support timely invoicingEngineering CoordinationCoordinate engineering deliverables with internal and external engineering teamsEnsure drawings, fabrication packages, and revisions are issued in support of production schedulesResolve technical issues affecting fabricationProcurement & MaterialsCoordinate material procurement and delivery with purchasingMonitor critical equipment and long-lead material statusWork with warehouse and material management teams to ensure efficient material flowFabrication ManagementCoordinate fabrication activities across structural steel, piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, coatings, insulation, and testingMonitor productivity and resource loadingResolve production constraints that impact schedule or costQuality AssuranceEnsure compliance with project specifications, codes, and customer requirementsSupport inspections, audits, and client witness activitiesDrive timely resolution of NCRs and punch list itemsLogistics & Module DeliveryCoordinate heavy haul, loadout, marine transportation, and site delivery requirementsEnsure modules are prepared for shipment in accordance with transportation plansCoordinate preservation and shipping documentationRisk ManagementIdentify commercial, technical, operational, and schedule risksDevelop mitigation strategies and contingency plansMaintain project risk registersTeam DevelopmentMentor Assistant Project Managers and Project EngineersFoster collaboration between construction, engineering, procurement, and support departmentsPromote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
