Whitestar Homes, in partnership with New Home Star, is seeking an ambitious, outgoing, and relationship-driven New Home Sales Representative to exclusively represent Whitestar Homes throughout the Salt Lake market and surrounding areas.

This is a mobile, territory-based sales opportunity representing Whitestar's portfolio in the Salt Lake market. The new Sales Representative will step into an existing inventory of approximately 10-15 spec homes available to sell immediately, spanning both higher-end and value-oriented product offerings.

We're looking for someone who wants to make Whitestar their primary professional focus. The right person will be excited to get out into the market, build relationships, and generate traffic. With extensive sales training and the opportunity to grow alongside Whitestar Homes, this role is ideal for an early-career real estate professional ready to invest in building a long-term career.

What You'll Do

Exclusively represent Whitestar Homes and its available spec inventory throughout the Salt Lake market and surrounding territory.

Proactively generate buyer traffic and showing appointments through prospect calls, MLS prospecting, open houses, community events, social media, networking, referrals, and other creative lead-generation activities.

Build strong relationships with local Realtors and brokers through brokerage visits, presentations, networking, consistent outreach, and ongoing follow-up.

Attend and manage buyer showings across Whitestar's dispersed inventory, confidently presenting available homes, features, pricing, financing considerations, and the overall Whitestar value proposition.

Ask thoughtful questions, identify buyer needs, navigate objections, create urgency, and confidently move qualified prospects toward a purchasing decision.

Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective buyers, Realtors, brokers, and referral partners to build a strong pipeline and convert opportunities into contracts and closings.

Attend weekly sales meetings and report on activities as builder representative.

Actively represent and promote the Whitestar Homes brand through social media, industry relationships, events, and other business-development activities that increase awareness and generate traffic.

What We're Looking For

Active Utah real estate license.

Ideally 1-3 years of real estate, new home sales, or related sales experience.

Experience managing leads and customer relationships through HubSpot or a similar CRM platform.

Outgoing and personable with a natural ability to start conversations, connect with new people, build relationships, and turn interactions into follow-up opportunities.

Proactive and entrepreneurial, with the willingness to independently prospect, network, visit brokerages, make calls, generate appointments, and create new sales opportunities.

Strong communication and presentation skills with the confidence to connect comfortably with prospective buyers, Realtors, brokers, and other industry professionals.

Coachable, adaptable, and eager to learn a proven new home sales process through extensive training and ongoing development.

Competitive and results-driven while maintaining a genuine, relationship-focused approach to selling.

Organized and disciplined in managing prospects, follow-up, appointments, travel, and a geographically dispersed inventory.

Self-motivated and prepared to dedicate the time and effort necessary to building the business and supporting Whitestar's sales goals.

Interested in growing with Whitestar over the long term as the company's production and sales volume expand.

Work Schedule & Additional Requirements

Full-time, 1099 independent contractor opportunity exclusively representing Whitestar Homes and its available inventory. The New Home Sales Representative's Utah real estate license will be affiliated with Whitestar Homes' principal broker.

This is a field-based sales role with regular driving throughout the territory. Whitestar's spec homes are located throughout the Salt Lake market, requiring regular travel across the territory and for the Sales Representative to strategically manage their appointment calendar to maximize time in market, minimize unnecessary travel, and work with buyers' availability.

The New Home Sales Representative will be responsible for proactively generating buyer interest and conducting a minimum of 10 property showings per week. As an independent contractor, the representative will have flexibility to manage their own schedule, coordinate appointments, and determine the prospecting strategies needed to achieve established sales and business development goals.

This is a proactive sales role requiring prospecting, relationship-building, traffic generation, and business development rather than relying on traffic from a designated model home or community.

Compensation & Growth Opportunity

100% commission-based compensation at 1.5% per Whitestar Homes closing.

Annual earning potential is estimated at $140,000+, contingent on individual sales performance.

Potential for quarterly performance bonuses based on established sales goals and performance metrics.

Step into an existing portfolio of approximately 10-15 completed spec homes available to sell immediately, providing inventory to begin generating sales from the start.

Extensive new home sales training and ongoing coaching focused on prospecting, traffic generation, buyer psychology, sales presentations, follow-up, objection handling, negotiation, closing techniques, Realtor relationships, and business development.

Long-term opportunity to grow alongside Whitestar Homes as the company increases production and sales volume.
