The firm’s clients—including individuals, families, family offices, endowments, foundations, charities, institutions, consultants, and financial intermediaries—are served by over 1,000 colleagues worldwide, all of whom are equity owners of the firm.Position SummaryThe Alternative Funds Administration Team is seeking a detailed oriented Senior Fund Operations Analyst with 2-5 years’ working experience supporting hedge funds and private equity operations, to fill a role in our Baltimore office. Strong understanding of fund structures, NAV calculations and reconciliation processes are key requirements.Essential Functions/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Review daily and monthly NAV calculations performed by fund administrator for hedge funds, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.Assist with investor allocations, subscriptions, and redemptions.Cayman, Bermuda or any offshore funds jurisdictional experience.Experience with multi series fund of funds with complex redemption scheduling and cash management.Collaborate with Client Service Teams and Portfolio Managers to manage investor interests as part of the subscriptions process.Manage communications with service providers, including fund administrators, custodians, and auditors.Collaborate closely with the investment team on the ongoing management of investments and the launch of new strategies.Support internal groups involved in hedge funds, Private Equity investments, such as legal, tax, accounting, reporting, and compliance.Implement process and procedure improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required2-5 years’ working experience preferredHedge Fund Operations experienceSmartSheet experience a plusAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and WordHighly organized and detail orientedSuperior analytical, problem solving, organizational, and communication skillsStrong background in math and computer use, ability to do manual calculationsSuperior written and oral communication skillsAbility to handle confidential material with utmost discretionAbility to work independently and efficiently on several assignments simultaneouslyExperience working in a collaborative team environmentAbility to work in the Baltimore office locationCERTIFICATIONS (Optional)CPA LevelMD Salary Range: $80 - $105k. Commensurate with experience and location. Does not include bonus or long term incentive eligibility (if applicable).DC Salary Range: $88 - $115k.Commensurate with experience and location.
