The persons in this position will maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and co-workers by patrolling, monitoring premises, and performing search procedures.Prosegur offers a whole suite of benefit options. We offer competitive wages and exciting company resources.Responsibilities:Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premisesCirculate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect propertyGuard, patrol, and monitor industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rulesEnforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistanceEscort on foot or by motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection or to escort persons off customer propertyWrite detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs)Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional mannerMonitor for irregular or unusual activitySecure facility and designated areasEnforce facility and company policies and proceduresInvestigate and prepare reports on incidentsQualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalentMust have one (1) year of experience as a security officerMust have open availability to work all shifts and schedulesMust have reliable transportationMust have good communications skillsAbility to stand or walk for long periodsPrior Access Control experience preferredAbility to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periodsTech Savvy skills a mustMust have or be able to obtain a TN State Guard LicenseCertification RequirementsUnarmed Security LicenseEducation RequirementsHigh School DiplomaAdditional Information / BenefitsPaid Holidays401K/403b PlanDental InsuranceWeekly PayVision InsuranceMedical InsuranceLife InsuranceThe following screenings are required:Criminal Background CheckMotor VehicleDrug ScreenThe following shifts are available:Day shiftNight shiftThird shiftWeekend shift
