Job Description

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical examinations and detailed reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical treatment plans
• Provide essential intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and efficiently handing off surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver exceptional pre- and post-operative care, which encompasses medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Active BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
