Journeyman

Responsibilities Inspect and maintain air‑conditioning and HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions in heating and cooling units Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC equipment, including thermostatic controls and liquid lines Service refrigeration equipment including refrigerators, ice machines, gas packs, and heat pumps Maintain chilled and hot water supply systems and adjust internal control systems Assemble and install metal ductwork and assist in HVAC system planning and design Ensure compliance with City, State, and EPA regulations by maintaining detailed maintenance records Identify and mitigate risks to maintain a safe working environment Collaborate with management to support safety and operational standards Required Qualifications 5+ years practical working experience in the HVAC industry Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs Must be able to stand, crawl, sit, squat, climb ladders, and work on rooftops for extended periods High School Diploma or GED Possess and maintain a valid and current driver’s license and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier Preferred Qualifications Basic understanding of building automation controls Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience using Salesforce and ServiceMax is a plus Benefits Health Care benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision; wellness incentives Retirement benefits Time Off and Leave: Paid vacation days, up to 15 days; paid sick days, up to 5 days; paid personal leave, up to 5 days; paid holidays, up to 13 days; birth and adoption leave; parental leave; family and medical leave; bereavement leave; jury duty; military leave; purchased vacation Disability: Short‑term and long‑term disability Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Tax‑Advantaged Accounts: Health Savings Account; Healthcare Spending Account; Dependent Care Spending Account Tuition Assistance Pay Range The hourly rate for this position is between $38.00 and $76.00 per hour.
