Job Description
Job Description
Step into a dynamic and rewarding speech-language pathology role supporting pediatric students across multiple school districts. As a full-time, in-person provider, you’ll have the unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference by stepping in where you’re needed most—covering maternity leaves, managing high caseloads, and delivering essential in-person services for families requesting onsite support rather than virtual.
This contract position is designed for a flexible, dedicated SLP who enjoys variety and challenge. You’ll travel between eight member districts, all conveniently accessible with a provided vehicle, making each day engaging and impactful as you serve diverse student populations across different educational environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Skilled in assessment, intervention, and IEP implementation for school-aged children
- Ability to provide in-person therapy and adapt easily to new school settings and teams
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Active state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language services to students in person across various districts
- Cover staff leaves and support overloaded caseloads efficiently and compassionately
- Participate actively as a member of multidisciplinary educational teams in assigned schools
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to IEP development and implementation
- Maintain thorough documentation and effective communication with families and staff
- Collaborate with online service providers and transition students smoothly to in-person care as needed
If you’re energized by variety and passionate about helping students achieve their communication potential, this floating SLP opportunity is a perfect fit. Apply now and experience the fulfillment of supporting schools where your expertise is needed most!
Compensation for this position ranges from $38.72 to $58.72. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
