Contract Duration: 12 months

Seeking for a talented Creative Content Development Copywriter to contribute to high-impact projects focused on developing high-quality instructional and supplemental materials aligned with updated science standards. You will lead the creation of visually engaging and user-friendly K-2 supplemental science units, ensuring they are optimized for educators, students, and districts.

Your role will involve applying a cohesive design framework to existing units, collaborating on nine additional units, and refining all materials to support rigorous, inquiry-driven instruction. You will also provide ongoing support for accessibility compliance and graphic design, ensuring all deliverables meet state and federal standards and align with branding expectations.

This position is crucial for maintaining the development of high-quality, accessible, and district-ready instructional content. You will ensure coherence across materials, timely completion of deliverables, and effective implementation aligned with the statewide work plan.

Must-Have Skills:

• Advanced use and knowledge of Microsoft Suite: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Advanced use and knowledge of Adobe Pro
• Experience in branding, digital marketing, or graphic design
• Knowledge of InDesign and Canva
• Awareness of government/state and federal ADA compliance regulations
• Ability to adhere to style and branding requirements
• Background in science content for K-12 material is desirable
