Field Service Engineer – Medical Imaging

Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $175,000–$225,000 annually (DOE)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer with expertise in SPECT and PET/CT medical imaging systems . This role involves installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced imaging equipment to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, and service SPECT and PET/CT imaging systems
Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
Complete calibration procedures and equipment testing
Diagnose technical issues using schematics, manuals, and OEM guidelines
Maintain accurate service documentation and records
Support software updates, upgrades, and equipment improvements
Provide technical support and training to clinical teams

Qualifications

Experience in medical imaging field service or healthcare technology
Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of SPECT/PET/CT systems preferred
Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams
Experience with calibration procedures and CMMS systems
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
DME certification is a plus
