About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year in Medical/Surgical Stepdown required License: Current state RN Licensure Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Cardiac Telemetry experience - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias - Experience with telemetry on the unit Description: The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient-family centered care. This includes addressing potential and actual health and illness problems for patients and families. The role involves operating in an 8-bed overflow unit. Nurses are expected to work a rotating schedule of three 12-hour shifts. Weekend coverage is required. Candidates must have experience managing a patient ratio of four patients per nurse during day and night shifts. Additional skills related to interdisciplinary support and special procedures are also essential. Experience in charting systems and a background in Medical/Surgical settings is preferred. Candidates with charge experience are favored but not required. All applicants must provide accurate work history spanning the last seven years. Compliance documentation must be completed ahead of the start date. Candidates should be prepared for potential verification of work history.
