Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered physical therapy evaluations and treatments
- Develop individualized care plans to restore function and mobility
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home programs
- Document patient progress accurately and timely
- Adapt treatment techniques to meet diverse patient needs
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in North Carolina (or compact eligibility)
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in orthopedic and geriatric rehabilitation
- Proficient in therapeutic exercise prescription and progression
- Knowledge of functional mobility assessments and outcome measures
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Skill in manual therapy techniques, including joint mobilizations and soft tissue work
