We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated educator to teach Calculus and Chemistry to high school students. The ideal candidate is passionate about both subjects, skilled at making abstract concepts concrete and engaging, and comfortable integrating project-based learning. This role involves working within a small team and reporting directly to the School Principal, with occasional involvement in extracurricular and advising activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver rigorous, engaging instruction in Calculus (AB/BC) and Chemistry (including lab-based coursework)
• Design assessments that measure both conceptual understanding and procedural fluency
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a range of learners
• Incorporate hands-on labs, real-world applications, and project-based learning where appropriate
• Maintain a safe, well-managed laboratory environment and ensure proper handling of chemicals and equipment
• Track student progress and communicate regularly with students, parents, and administration
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and school-wide initiatives
• Serve as an advisor, club sponsor, or in another co-curricular capacity as needed, including occasional weekend or after-school events
• Uphold the school's mission, values, and educational philosophy in and out of the classroom

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of high school teaching experience
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Chemistry, or related field
• Experience with Calculus instruction and Chemistry laboratory management
• Skilled in student assessment design and classroom management
• Familiarity with project-based learning and effective communication skills
• Proficient in using digital teaching tools, traditional materials, and lab technologies including simulations
