Details 10-bed ICU within a community hospital setting Cares for critically ill adult patients including medical emergencies, post-surgical care, respiratory failure, and sepsis Occasionally manages pediatric patients during early stabilization before transfer to tertiary centers Manages acute stroke patients via telestroke/tele-neurology services as a certified Primary Stroke Center 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment Every third weekend required Requirements Active RN license (NH or Compact) currently in hand MA license required if applicable Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required Must have successfully completed at least one prior travel assignment Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, medical exemptions allowed Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to a diverse adult ICU population including cardiac, surgical, and stroke cases Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Local candidates not accepted Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6 month break before returning First-time travelers will not be considered for this role American Traveler Job ID P-750575.
