You'll oversee preventive maintenance, capital improvement projects, grounds, facilities, equipment, and a talented maintenance team that helps create an exceptional experience for every guest. Leadership & Team Development Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing maintenance team Create schedules that maximize efficiency while supporting outstanding guest service Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development Foster a culture built on accountability, teamwork, safety, and excellence Lead by example, working alongside your team when needed Maintenance Operations Develop and manage comprehensive preventative maintenance programs Prioritize daily work orders, repairs, and maintenance projects Coordinate vendors, contractors, and project timelines Manage inventory, purchasing, and departmental expenses in partnership with the General Manager Monitor maintenance budgets while identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies Ensure all resort facilities remain in excellent operating condition Resort Facilities & Equipment Oversee the maintenance and repair of: Buildings and common areas Luxury cabins and guest accommodations Pools and resort amenities HVAC systems Plumbing and electrical systems Appliances Water heaters Mechanical equipment Company vehicles and maintenance equipment Propane station operations Irrigation systems Grounds & Landscaping Help keep River Sands looking its very best by overseeing: Irrigation systems Landscaping and lawn care Tree and shrub maintenance Weed and pest control Colorado River frontage maintenance Seasonal planting and landscape enhancements Storm cleanup and property appearance Safety & Compliance Champion a culture where safety comes first Conduct regular safety meetings and ongoing training Maintain MSDS/SDS documentation and required records Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements Promote a safe working environment for associates and guests We're Looking For Someone Who...
