Teradata Architect / Senior Teradata Developer

Texas, Plano 06/10/2025 Contract Active Job Description: Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Teradata Architect / Senior Developer to lead the development of Teradata platform strategy and roadmap. This role involves evaluating platform features, establishing standards, and supporting key implementations and migrations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Teradata architecture, cloud migration, and performance optimization, along with strong communication and collaboration skills. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate Teradata platform features and contribute to the creation of strategic roadmaps. Define and implement Teradata platform standards and integration patterns. Lead Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives and socialize findings with stakeholders. Design foundational architecture for new capabilities and coordinate pilot onboarding. Support implementation of key features, troubleshoot issues, and provide remediation for Teradata users and applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful platform adoption and optimization. Required Qualifications: Proficiency in Teradata with hands-on experience in version 17.20 or higher. Experience as a Teradata Architect or Database Administrator (DBA). Expertise in Teradata database cloud migration. Strong background in Teradata database administration, including upgrades, performance tuning, and backup management using DSA and Data Domain. Proficiency in SQL and Teradata utilities such as TPT, BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and TPump. Experience in performance optimization and role-based access control. Familiarity with Teradata tools such as NOS, QueryGrid, and Clearscape Analytics. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks platforms. Exposure to hybrid data architecture and modern data engineering practices. #J-18808-Ljbffr Compunnel, Inc.
