Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

RN Step Down / Advanced PCU

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (36 hrs/week) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an advanced PCU unit that operates at an ICU-level acuity
• Care for post-surgical cardiac patients, including 24-hour post-CABG patients with chest tubes
• Monitor and manage patients with LVADs (facility orientation/course provided)
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5 in a high-acuity step-down environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 18 months of PCU, IMC, or Step-Down experience within the past 3 years
• Current ACLS certification required
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (no local travelers)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac surgery patients, including chest tube management
• Familiarity with LVAD patient care
