About the Position

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: General Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute or surgical experience required License: State License required Certifications: ARRT, BLS required Must-Have: Surgical/Procedure experience, General imaging, Portables, Mid-high level hospital experience Description: Part-time position with a total of 40 hours biweekly. Facility is a Level III Trauma Center with a Level III NICU and Magnet designation. The unit has an average daily census of 15-20 patients per technician. Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and procedural across all age ranges. Required skills include experience with surgical procedures, general imaging, and portable imaging. Fluoroscopy experience in ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, and urology cases is essential. Experience in orthopedic, general, and spine procedures is preferred, especially with O-arm technology. Support includes a lead technician on day shift and a radiologist on-site 24/7. There are 14 technicians on day shift, 7 on second shift, and 3 on night shift. All radiologic technologists work 24/7 with hospitalists and intensivists available at all times. Technology includes EMR with advanced imaging systems. Weekend rotation is required every other weekend. On-call schedule includes one shift per week with specific call times. Holiday expectations include working one holiday per contract period. Shift times are flexible, typically ranging from 1 to 1.5 hours based on staffing needs. Surgical scrubs are provided in-house. Unit culture is described as fast-paced with a high acuity of patients.
