Collections Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Collections Coordinator to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Accounts Receivable (A/R) aging and driving related collection efforts to ensure continuous cash flow and reduce delinquent balances. You will act as a key liaison, maintaining robust relationships with group contacts, account executives, brokers, and external collection agencies to support and enforce collection procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Accounts Receivable (A/R) aging reports and initiate collection efforts to reduce delinquent balances.

• Partner and maintain relationships with group contacts, account executives, brokers, and collection agencies.

• Ensure continuous cash flow by actively monitoring accounts and resolving outstanding payment issues.

• Apply demonstrated negotiation and issue-resolution skills to settle account discrepancies.

• Maintain the strictest patient confidentiality at all times and strictly adhere to all HIPAA guidelines.

• Ensure compliance with all internal collection policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience working as a Collections Coordinator role for a healthcare orginization.

• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to utilize VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and complex formulas.

• Core Competencies: Experience with the Collections module in Oracle Fusion and Microsoft Word.
• AI Proficiency: Ability to leverage AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, to format spreadsheets and enhance written business communications.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities.

• Highly detail-oriented, flexible, and creative with excellent organization and planning skills.

• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively while maintaining strict confidentiality.

• Deep understanding of accounts receivable and collection procedures.
