Quality Inspector II

Quality Inspector IIAs a Quality Inspector II, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our products meet rigorous quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. You'll perform in-process and first-piece inspections, identify defects, and work closely with production and quality teams to maintain compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who takes pride in precision and continuous improvement.A Day in the Life:Perform in-process and first-piece inspections at various stages of manufacturingUse precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, and test equipment) to verify dimensions, tolerances, and functionalityIdentify, document, and report defects on non-conformities in products and componentsCollaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and prevent defect recurrenceMaintain accurate inspection records, measurements, test results, and corrective action documentationMonitor production processes to ensure compliance with established quality parametersVerify compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and company quality policiesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiencyPrepare and communicate inspection reports to quality management and production teamsFollow all safety requirements and comply with AS9100D, ISO 13485, and other applicable standardsYou're a Great Fit If You:Have strong attention to detail and a commitment to qualityAre experienced with precision measurement and inspection techniquesCan identify quality issues, analyze root causes, and support corrective actionsCommunicate clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teamsAre organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple inspection tasksValue safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environmentPreferred Experience:High school diploma or GED preferredTechnical training or certification in quality control, inspection, or a related field preferred2–3 years of experience in metal stamping and fabrication, manufacturing inspection, or related workFamiliarity with industry quality standards and documentation requirementsPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand, walk, and move frequently throughout the shiftRegularly lift 25 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbsStrong vision, including close, distance, peripheral, and depth perceptionManual dexterity to handle and measure parts accuratelyPhysical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and maintain focus during long shiftsWhy Work With Us?You'll be part of a quality-driven team where your attention to detail directly impacts product performance and customer satisfaction.
