About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Neuro ICU RN in Falls Church, Virginia, 22042!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour day/night rotation Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS. CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN preferred Must-Have: - Weekend requirement: Every other weekend - Holiday requirement: Every other holiday - Floating expectation: First to float to Neuro Intermediate Care Unit - Patient ratio: 1:2 (may flex based on patient acuity) - EMR: Epic - Scrubs: Navy blue pants and solid navy blue or solid white tops. Jackets: solid navy blue or solid white. Description: The role requires BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Additional certifications such as CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN are preferred. The position involves a weekend requirement of every other weekend and holidays every other holiday. You may be required to float to the Neuro Intermediate Care Unit as needed. The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 1:2, but can be adjusted based on patient acuity. Experience with Epic EMR is required.
