Electrical Assembler

The Electrical Assembler will build and integrate electrical and mechanical products to completion by following detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and fabrication prints. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently according to a production schedule, and effective collaboration with shop leadership and cross-functional teams. The Electrical Assembler will support a high-quality, safety-focused environment and operate within an ISO 9001 Quality System.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and mechanical products to completion by following electrical drawings, schematics, and fabrication prints.
• Read and interpret complex electrical and mechanical assembly fabrication drawings and blueprints.
• Perform electrical wiring, low-voltage connections, and switchgear or switchboard assembly as required.
• Work independently while following a defined production schedule and meeting established deadlines.
• Collaborate with shop leads to communicate progress, quality concerns, and production schedule updates.
• Assist coworkers and support other departments with assembly and integration tasks as needed.
• Participate actively in shop cleanup activities to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Operate consistently within the requirements of an ISO 9001 Quality System.
• Follow company safety, quality, and environmental policies to maintain compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
• Remain aware of and comply with environmental and safety regulations, performing all duties to high quality standards.
• Provide direction to others on how to complete assembly tasks and support leading a crew when required.
• Use hand tools and fabrication processes safely and efficiently during assembly and integration work.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical and mechanical assembly prints, drawings, and schematics.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to excel at the physical assembly of parts and components.
• Familiarity with electrical wiring and electrical assembly processes, including low-voltage applications.
• Experience with electrical assembly of products such as switchgear, switchboards, or similar equipment.
• Ability to work independently while following a production schedule and meeting deadlines.
• Capability to communicate clearly with shop leads and team members regarding quality and production issues.
• Advanced knowledge and practical use of hand tools in an assembly environment.
• Understanding of and ability to operate within an ISO 9001 Quality System.
• Commitment to following safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to direct others in assembly tasks and assist in leading a crew on the shop floor.
• Experience working with fabrication processes related to electrical and mechanical assemblies.
• Comfort working alongside team members from other departments to complete final integration of products.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset in a production environment.
• Willingness to participate in shop cleanup and general housekeeping activities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Kearny, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. 401k full health benefits - dental vision medical sick pay
