If you're looking for a low stress job and wanting to get some extra income this is the job for you.

A family in the Rochester MN area is in need of a licensed RN or LPN for in-home care of a young adult in a safe, private country residence.

We have room for a full time / part time position in addition to the seasoned staff that is already in place.

• Evenings or nights
• 24 to 40 hours per week available.
• 8 hour shifts (11pm - 7am) or 12 hour shifts (7pm - 7am)
• Afternoons also available with variable hours
• We're flexible with present staff.

This is in a home setting where one level of the home is devoted to the patient and caregivers including a bedroom, private bath, family room with microwave, refrigerator and sink. Assistance from the family is available 24/7 as needed.

Duties include:

• Enteral tube feedings & PEG site management
• Medication administration
• Turning patient during night every two hours and stand/pivot transfers as needed
• Vital signs and patient assessment

The patient is non-verbal but is happy and easy going so someone that has an outgoing personality and can communicate well is preferred. Help is always available so you won't be left without support.
