Benefits Daily pay – work today, get paid tomorrow (easy access to a portion of earned wages after completed shifts) Healthcare – medical and prescription, dental, vision insurance Retirement – 401K plan, company matches 6% plus annual retirement contribution, 100% funded by Murphy and valued at 3% of base pay PTO – time accrues based on hours you work and how long you’ve been part of our team Education assistance – 100% of GED costs covered by Murphy Career advancement opportunities – promotion from Shift Lead to Assistant Manager can be done in as quickly as 6 months Diverse and inclusive culture putting people first – rated one of America’s Best Employers for Diversity Shift Lead Salary Range – $11.75 – $12.25 per hour Assistant Manager Salary Range – $12.25 – $12.75 per hour Responsibilities Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience Responding to and resolving customers’ requests and concerns Operating cash register Ensuring fuel and merchandise is available for customers Maintaining a clean and safe environment Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations Helping lead the team to exceed the store’s performance goals and objectives Performing job‑related duties as assigned In the absence of management, providing backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan‑ogram compliance, inventory ordering, product count, equipment maintenance, and training new employees Requirements Must be 18+ years of age (19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky, and 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah) High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience Requires minimum 3 months of cashier experience Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Murphy USA Inc is an equal opportunity employer.
