Housekeeping Team Leader

Location: Madison - Wisconsin The Madison Concourse Hotel 1 West Dayton Street Madison, WI 53703, USA Starting Wage: $20.00/hour, depending on experience Typical Schedule: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (Sunday 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.) with weekends and schedule flexibility based on hotel occupancy. What You’ll Do Lead and support the housekeeping team throughout the day Assist with training, coaching, scheduling, and performance development Conduct training and coaching sessions on chemical usage, departmental policies, and the various components of the Hay Adams Standards of Excellence Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet hotel cleanliness standards Partner with the Front Office to prioritize room availability and guest needs Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally Assist with payroll, inventory, and departmental organization Help oversee daily operations in the absence of the Director of Housekeeping or the Assistant Housekeeping Manager What We’re Looking For Previous housekeeping experience required; hotel experience strongly preferred Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills Ability to coach, motivate, and support team members Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment while balancing multiple priorities Ability to work on your feet throughout the shift, including lifting, bending, climbing stairs, and stretching Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as business demands Bilingual skills are a plus Why Join Us?
