Med Cart / Charge Nurse - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for 2nd and 3rd Shift

• 2nd Shift: Two Med Cart/Charge Nurse positions
• 3rd Shift: One Med Cart/Charge Nurse position, Monday-Friday

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license, or applicable temporary nursing license
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dependable, compassionate, and committed to quality resident care
• Ability to work effectively as part of a nursing team

Essential Job Functions

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Administering medications safely and accurately
• Completing electronic documentation and resident assessments
• Monitoring residents and reporting changes in condition to physicians and responsible parties as necessary
• Ordering medications from the pharmacy
• Supervising and supporting CNA staff
• Providing wound care
• Collecting and processing laboratory samples
• Following resident care plans, nursing standards, and facility policies
• Communicating effectively with residents, families, providers, and members of the interdisciplinary care team
• Assisting with additional nursing duties as needed to support quality resident care
