Role Description The Founder's Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Orange County, CA. We're looking for a highly organized, creative, and resourceful Founder's Associate to work directly with our founder across multiple businesses and projects. You’ll be the founder's right hand, helping turn ideas into reality, coordinating projects, creating content, planning events, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. If you love building brands, creating contents, traveling, food, and event planning, we'd love to meet you. What You’ll Do Every week looks different, but responsibilities may include: Manage the founder's calendar, priorities, travel, and meetings Create and organize social media content Film behind-the-scenes content during meetings, travel, and events Assist with business development and special projects Help plan brand events, pop-ups, launches, and community gatherings Coordinate with designers, agencies, manufacturers, and partners Conduct research and prepare presentations Follow up on action items to ensure projects move forward Organize documents, SOPs, and internal systems Assist with personal errands and lifestyle logistics when needed Be present at trade shows, photoshoots, festivals, and brand activations Solve problems proactively before they become problems We’re Looking For Someone Who Is Highly organized and detail-oriented Creative with an excellent eye for aesthetics Passionate about food, hospitality, and lifestyle brands Proficient in creating content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms An exceptional communicator and relationship builder Resourceful and able to figure things out independently Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities Positive, trustworthy, and professional Excited to travel when opportunities arise Passionate about building something meaningful from the ground up Skills Social media & content creation Photography and short-form video Canva, CapCut or Adobe Creative Suite Google Workspace & Microsoft Office Project management tools (Asana, Notion, ClickUp, etc.) Event planning Community building Excellent writing and communication skills Bonus Points Experience working at a startup or founder-led company Event or hospitality experience Food & beverage industry experience Experience in building community What You’ll Get Work directly with the founder across exciting businesses and projects Opportunity for international travel Front-row seat to building consumer brands from the ground up Mentorship and significant growth opportunities A dynamic, creative work environment where your ideas matter The opportunity to help create products, experiences, and communities that bring people joy #J-18808-Ljbffr House of Joy Dim Sum
