Pediatrics Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician for an ongoing locum opportunity with a well-established outpatient clinic network in the Los Angeles area. This flexible assignment offers full-time or part-time scheduling, robust clinical support, and the opportunity to serve a diverse pediatric population.

Assignment Details

• Start: Upon credentialing (approximately weeks)
• Full-time preferred (4 weeks/month)
• Part-time availability also considered

Schedule

• Monday Friday
• Five 8-hour shifts
• Shift start times of 8:00 AM or 11:00 AM
• 1 2 evening shifts per week
• No call

Practice Setting

• Outpatient Pediatric Clinic
• Home base at 1 2 clinic locations within a reasonable commuting distance
• Epic EMR

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care
• Preventive and well-child visits
• Acute and chronic illness management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
• Document patient encounters in Epic

Patient Volume

• Approximately 18 patients per day

Team Structure

• Medical Assistant support
• Registered Nurses and LVNs
• On-site Behavioral Health
• Robust multidisciplinary support staff

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Active California medical license
• DEA required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Spanish-speaking strongly preferred

Credentialing

• Approximately weeks
• Clean background preferred
• Major malpractice history will not be accepted
