Assistant CNC Machine Operator

Details Full-Time, On Site M-F, 8:30am – 4pm Hourly: $21 + OT (Non-Exempt) Medical/Dental/Vision Paid Time Off 401K E-Verify Applicants Only Basic Duties and Responsibilities Setup, adjust, and run benchtop CNC machines withhigh accuracy and productivity Perform SPC (statistical process control) to ensure all parts conform to specification Read and understand work instructions and engineering drawings Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices Ensure dimensional conformance to work instructions and engineering drawings Document actions by completing production and quality logs Operate band saws, rotary tools, bench sanders, etc., as needed Perform routine machine cleaning and maintenance duties Follow all safety regulations and protocols to prevent on the job injury Maintain a clean and uncluttered work area Inventory management as necessary to complete CNC tasks Submit machined filters to Engineering Department for photometric inspection Like duties as assigned—dark room testing, inspections, color coating, inventory.
