Varenza is looking for a closer. If you can walk into a homeowner's kitchen, build trust fast, and walk out with a signed contract — and you have (or can develop) the design skills to back it up — this is your seat.

About the Role
This is a sales-first role. You'll generate and manage your own pipeline of homeowners, run consultative sales meetings, and close signed proposals for kitchen and bath remodels — using design selections, renderings, and presentations as the tools that get clients to say yes. A year in, you'll have a full pipeline, a strong close rate, and a track record of turning consultations into signed, funded projects.

What You'll Do

• Generate, qualify, and manage your own pipeline of homeowner leads and referrals
• Run consultative in-home or showroom sales meetings, uncovering budget, timeline, and decision-making process
• Present pricing and proposal options persuasively, handle objections, and close signed contracts
• Build design selections, renderings, and presentations that function as sales tools to help clients commit
• Move every closed project into the ordering/production phase and hand off a complete design binder to the production team
• Track your pipeline closely, follow up relentlessly, and hit monthly and quarterly closing targets
• Partner with the production team to protect the client experience after the sale

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Proven track record closing sales in a consultative, big-ticket environment (home remodeling, home improvement, real estate, solar, or similar)
• Confidence running the full sales cycle end to end: prospecting and follow-up, presenting, negotiating, and closing
• 2+ years of kitchen and bath (or related residential) design experience, or strong design aptitude with a portfolio to show for it
• Experience with design software (e.g., 20-20 Design, SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the drive to manage a full pipeline independently

Preferred:

• Prior experience as a design-sales "closer" or in-home sales consultant
• Familiarity with cabinetry, countertops, plumbing fixtures, and general remodeling construction
• Existing relationships with local trade or contractor networks in the Charlotte area
