About the Position
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Florida beginning Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity involves emergency medicine duties in a dynamic clinical environment, with scheduling and shift hours to be determined. The assignment utilizes Meditech EHR.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver high-quality emergency medical care to patients presenting with a broad spectrum of acute conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document all patient encounters accurately in Meditech EHR
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions
- Adhere to established clinical protocols and best practices
Additional Information
- Must hold a valid Florida medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with emergency medicine experience
- Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Familiarity with Meditech EHR is preferred
