TITLE
Registered Nurse - Geropsychiatric

SCHEDULE
Days 7a-7p

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Weeks: 13
Guaranteed Hours: 36

REQUIREMENTS
- 2-year Associates degree or diploma from a 3-year Nursing program required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must possess valid State of New Hampshire RN license
- BLS certification required
- 1 year previous nursing experience preferred
- Medical terminology required

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute comprehensive nursing care activities on the Geropsychiatric Unit.
- Assess, monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
- Maintain accurate patient reports and medical histories; perform mental and physical assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and assist patients with daily activities.
- Manage activities within the therapeutic milieu, including education and individual patient interactions.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure optimal care for patients.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES
- Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid.
- The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
