At a Glance Company: Tecomet Location: Warsaw, Indiana (On-Site) Job Type: Full-Time Pay Range: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour (DOE) Experience Level: 3+ Years CNC Machining Industry: Medical Device & Aerospace Manufacturing Overtime: Available based on production needs Work Authorization: U.S. Person (ITAR environment) --- Why This Role Exists Tecomet is expanding its machining team in Warsaw, IN to support growing demand in precision medical and aerospace manufacturing. This CNC Machinist II position is ideal for experienced machinists who can independently set up and operate CNC equipment while maintaining tight tolerances and high-quality standards. This is a stable, long-term opportunity in a clean manufacturing environment with room to grow into higher-level machinist or programming roles. --- What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you will: Set up and operate CNC machines within specified tolerances Machine complex components from various metals and alloys Perform progressive machining operations requiring close tolerance control Make tooling changes and minor offset adjustments for tool wear Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools Maintain accurate job documentation (routers, job cards, logs) Perform routine machine maintenance and follow PM schedules Support continuous improvement initiatives Maintain 5S standards and safe work practices Escalate technical or production issues to leadership when necessary --- Machines & Environment CNC mills and lathes Precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.) GMP/GDP manufacturing environment Production-focused precision machining shop --- Materials You May Work With Stainless steel Aluminum Titanium Specialty alloys --- What We’re Looking For Required High School Diploma or GED 3+ years of CNC machining experience Proven ability to set up and operate CNC equipment Strong blueprint reading skills Ability to maintain tight tolerances Experience running multiple machines Strong safety and quality mindset Preferred Associate degree or machinist certificate Apprenticeship completion Experience in medical or aerospace manufacturing Key Skills CNC setup and operation Tooling changes and offset adjustments Blueprint interpretation Quality inspection techniques Time management and productivity focus Strong communication and teamwork --- Pay & Benefits Pay Range: $21 – $25 per hour Benefits Include: Medical, dental, vision insurance 401(k) with company match PTO and paid holidays Growth and advancement opportunities --- Apply Today If you’re a CNC Machinist who takes pride in precision, quality, and craftsmanship, Tecomet in Warsaw, IN wants to hear from you.
