About the Unit

Join our dedicated team that serves over 4,000 cardiology patients each year. Our facility is renowned for its advanced procedures, including PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, and bi-ventricular pacemakers, alongside the management of patients with congestive heart failure and electrophysiology studies. Our unit has received accolades for its commitment to outstanding performance and superior patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize clinical judgment to assess and address patient responses to current or potential health issues.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care to cardiovascular patients.
• Engage in national clinical trials overseen by our research department.
• Adhere to strict attendance policies to ensure consistent and reliable patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan RN license is mandatory.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an ICU setting is essential.
• EKG experience is necessary.
• Willingness to float to similar units is expected.
• Preferred experience includes Neuro, CVICU, Trauma, managing ventilators, CRRT, and Balloon Pumps.
• Completion of a skills checklist within one year of application is required.
