.Title: Field Service TechnicianCompany: Global Power Components – Milwaukee, WI (90+% travel - 5-days/week)Hire Type: Temp-to-Hire (3+ months)Responsibilities:Proficient in use of tools and standard procedures relating to diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing maintenance on equipmentPerform scheduled inspections on equipment to prevent future failure, including but not limited to load banking and analyzing voltage requirementsDiagnose, troubleshoot, repair and perform maintenance on equipment according to standard procedures in an efficient mannerAble to read an electrical schematic. And mechanical prints.Train and educate customers on use of equipment and value of products and services providedFollow established expectations for communicating with Dispatch throughout the day regarding updates and next assignmentsMaintain associated equipment and inventoryMaintain accurate records of all services performed, mileage, expenses, and bill-able hoursAdhere to all safety requirements and regulationsThe Field Service Technician position reports GPC Field Services Director and travels frequently to customer locations within assigned geographic area.Ability to travel up to 80-90% of the year. Methods of transportation may vary.Frequently move objects up to 50 poundsComfort in sharing resources like pairing up in work vans.Qualifications:The qualified Field Service Technician will preferably have 2+ years of experience in electrical work, repair, and installation.Ability to use electrical and mechanical aptitude to determine causes of equipment errorAbility to work independently as a Field Service Technician and make decisions with little guidance in a fast-paced environmentMaintain a valid Driver's License and REAL ID to fly domesticallyPass initial & random drug screening. #J-18808-Ljbffr Global Power Components
