Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Monitoring in Daytona Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for employees visitors and deliveries. You will communicate professionally report observations and provide exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universals agile reliable innovative caring teamwork-driven and integrity-focused values.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents access concerns and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility warehouse areas loading docks parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees visitors contractors and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations incidents and patrol activity through accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
