Job Overview Position: Middle Career Geophysicist (Houston, TX) Division: Digital & Integration Join our dynamic team to support customers in utilizing Petrel E&P software and perform geophysical and geological interpretation tasks to deliver high quality project study results in a timely manner. Responsibilities Provide technical support throughout the Sales and Product & Service Delivery process. Assist with development of technical job designs and identify cost‑effective techniques. Consult with Design/Technical Engineers to optimize technical design. Respond to real‑time incidents, recover and investigate related to area of expertise. Evaluate technical viability and overall appraisal of tenders. Stay current on new technologies and maintain customer visibility through professional society activities. Understand competition’s technical offering and contribute to external technical societies. Write and review technical publications and engage with universities and research organizations. Qualifications Advanced VSP processing, skilled in processing complex subsalt datasets. VSP survey design using ray and wave equation‑based methods. Experience with 3D DAS VSP processing. Experience in AVO walkaway VSPs. Salt proximity survey processing and modeling. Advanced VSP imaging workflow experience. Master’s degree in Geophysics or a related Earth Science discipline.
