• Customer Service Interacts with residents, their family members and co-workers in a respectful manner

• Education and Staff In-Services includes training for individual departments, Poydras Home, and Green House Project

• Infection Control - Adheres to Poydras Home infection control policies and procedures
• Proper hand hygiene, including use of hand sanitizer
• Fingernails are to be maintained in compliance with the hand hygiene policy, including no use of artificial nails and only basic polish.
• Utilizes PPE including disposable gloves, hair restraints, gowns, and shields to prevent the spread of diseases, germs, and infection
• Maintains personal hygiene/cleanliness
• Timely completion of all required testing and immunizations, including TB, Influenza and COVID
• Professionalism
• Performs all other reasonable duties as assigned or requested by Management
• Follows proper dress code and wears nametag
• Prioritizes and organizes work efficiently; work is complete, thorough, and neat
• Safety - Recognizes and responds appropriately to safety hazards throughout the community
• Verifies the identity of resident prior to any treatment/service performed
• Uses proper body mechanics
• Follows correct procedure in emergency situations
• In the event of a hurricane or other disaster or emergency situation, is required to be part of the Disaster Team. Depending on Disaster Team assignment, may be required to shelter in place or evacuate with the Residents and staff to the designated primary or secondary evacuation locations as per the Emergency Preparedness Disaster Policy.
• Time and Attendance Adheres to Poydras Home Attendance policy
• Reports to work as scheduled
• Attendance within acceptable limits; reports on and off duty in timely manner and gives proper notice for tardiness or absences
• Adheres to lunch/break times and schedules
• Promptly checks assignment and begins duties
